Mackenzee
Born and raised in Owen Sound, Mackenzee has always had a passion for caring for animals. From working as a local dog walker to caring for her own furry companions—and completing a co-op placement at NHAH—she quickly realized that a career in veterinary medicine was exactly how she wanted to spend her time.
After graduating in June 2025 with a Bachelor of Science from Wilfrid Laurier University, Mackenzee returned to NHAH to further develop her knowledge and skills in the field. While she has a love for all animals, furry or otherwise, she has a special soft spot for guinea pigs.
When she’s not busy helping out around the clinic, you can often find Mackenzee lost in a good book, playing soccer during the summer months, or spending quality time with friends
